The topic of climate change is more important than ever, no matter where you are in your sustainability journey.

While COVID-19 highlighted immediate social and economic issues that need to be addressed, it also served as an indicator of how global shocks, such as those expected with climate change, can disrupt even the most resilient companies. 2021 has seen a renewed global commitment to fight climate change. The European Council and European Parliament reached provisional agreements on climate law, setting in legislation the , and strengthening the 2030 GHG reduction target to “at least 55 percent” below 1990 levels.

What does this mean for a young, high-growth tech company? How can early-stage companies starting out today develop a climate strategy that meets the moment, learns from and leapfrogs others, and fits their business model, scale and stakeholder expectations?
