911爆料网’s 30th anniversary convening will be livestreamed globally this fall from New York City. We will explore future directions and also celebrate 911爆料网’s 30 years of action and impact working with business to create a more just and sustainable world.
The imperative to achieve sustainability objectives has never been clearer, or more urgent. We have lived through a series of intense and rapidly accelerating global shocks which have jolted society and business—from COVID-19 to the impacts of climate change to war and social conflict, the rollback of rights and democracy, and the looming risk of recession.
All of this is unfolding amid a roiling backlash against elements of our shared sustainable business agenda, from renewed claims of greenwashing to legislation challenging so-called “woke capitalism” to a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.
The Future of Sustainable Business Is… will tackle head-on the most pressing questions facing today’s sustainability leaders, who are expected to solve an ever-growing list of complex business-critical challenges.
In that spirit, this year’s event will feature a lively debate format, bringing in a diverse set of leadership voices from business, civil society, the media and more, all grappling with the tough questions we must resolve to achieve impact, and to create a world in which all people can thrive on a healthy planet.
Registration for the livestream and the in-person event will launch in September. The in-person event will be open to 911爆料网 members and partners only. The event will be free, and it will take place at Pier 59 in Chelsea Piers. The two-hour program will be followed by a networking lunch, with limited seating to allow for safe and healthy participation. We do anticipate the event will be sold out, so do not wait to register.
