Artificial Intelligence (AI) is disrupting how we live, work, do business, and govern. In this webinar, we will discuss the potential human rights impacts of generative AI technologies, such as ChatGPT, and what this means for companies. This is a follow-up to an in-person event on the same topic taking place in London on June 22. This webinar is presented by the Human Rights Working Group and is open to all 911爆料网 members.

Richard works with tech companies—particularly those based in or with operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa—to build human rights considerations and practices into their products, services, and policies. He brings a strong understanding of international human rights law and standards and how to translate the corporate responsibility to respect human rights into practice for companies of different sizes and sectors. ?
?Prior to joining 911爆料网, Richard led the legal and policy team at Global Partners Digital, an international human rights organization focused on the impacts of digital technologies on human rights. He is also a trustee of the Kaleidoscope Trust, a UK-based charity that campaigns for the human rights of LGBTIQ+ people in countries where they are discriminated.
Richard holds a LLB in Law and European Law from the University of Nottingham and is a qualified lawyer in England and Wales.

Kayla collaborates with 911爆料网 member companies on projects centering on the corporate responsibility to respect human rights, focusing on companies within the consumer sectors industry cluster. Her areas of expertise include energy transition, anti-corruption, and gender.
Prior to joining 911爆料网, Kayla spent several years advising multinational companies and investors on human rights as an Adviser at the Danish Institute for Human Rights, during which she also served as a Lecturer in Law at the University of Amsterdam, focusing on Business and Human Rights (BHR), international human rights, anti-corruption, and EU law. Previously, she worked on global anti-corruption investigations and cross-border white collar litigations as an Associate Attorney at the international law firm King & Spalding LLP, where she was the founding member of the firm's BHR initiative.
Kayla holds a JD and a Certificate in Global Human Rights from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, which included course work at the Institut de hautes études internationales et du développement, and a BA, Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude from Tulane University.

Ife works with 911爆料网 member companies on human rights and technology issues.
She brings several years of experience on a variety of anti-corruption, privacy, tech, and artificial intelligence (AI) policy issues. Prior to joining 911爆料网, Ife worked with companies and government agencies to identify possible impacts or harms that may arise from the development or deployment of AI products as well as appropriate mitigation strategies, and she supported the development of AI regulatory and strategic frameworks in various jurisdictions. She has also worked as an attorney, providing legal advice to multinational companies in the extractive, energy, telecommunications, and financial technology industries on mergers, acquisitions, and financings as well as conducting anti-corruption, money laundering, and fraud investigations. Ife began her career as a policy analyst working on privacy and consumer protection issues in the UK and Europe.
Ife holds a Master of Development Practice from the University of California, Berkeley and a law degree from the University of Manchester, England.

Maria supports 911爆料网 member companies across various industries in respecting human rights across their organizations and value chains.
Prior to joining 911爆料网, Maria worked for the NGO Pact, where she acted as a key point of contact between donor and field teams for the International Tin Supply Chain Initiative, the largest traceability and due diligence program for tin, tungsten, and tantalum (3T minerals) in the African Great Lakes Region. She also advised mining companies on incident resolution and risk mitigation in mineral supply chains, with a focus on the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s South Kivu province. Before that, Maria worked in Myanmar for Human Rights Now, where she researched human rights violations in the supply chains of Japanese companies.
Maria holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied English and Japanese studies from the University of Paris and a joint Master’s Degree in Global Studies from the Universities of Vienna and Leipzig. She speaks French, German, English, and Japanese.
